Hi loves! One thing that I love to do is explore my hometown and discover new, local spots to eat and shop. It always amazes me how much about my own town that I don’t know, and how many amazing restaurants I haven’t tried yet!
In case you don’t know, I’m from Utah and currently live near Provo. There are actually a TON of amazing restaurants near me that are serving up some delicious and creative food.
One of my go-to spots for weekend brunch is Communal. The atmosphere and decor in here is friendly, cozy, and such a great place to gather with friends and family. I swear I could stay and hang out all day. Their deep fried french toast is UNREAL. When it comes to brunch, I always have a hard time choosing between sweet and savory, so I usually end up getting one of each! Communal’s egg benedicts are seriously next level, and a large part of their menu is locally sourced and sustainable!
I love the idea of farm to table dining, because it ensures that the ingredients are fresh + seasonal, and also supports small, local businesses. Totally a win-win! No matter where I’m eating, I usually try to order what’s fresh and in season. By doing this, you can be certain that you’re getting the most nutrients possible from your food!
Another favorite Provo spot is Taste. It’s a little coffee + tea shop and cafe that also sells chocolates and other amazing treats from across the world! I love stopping in here for a few scones and a cup of tea, it’s such a cute space – great for sitting and catching up with girlfriends or hanging out with Cars!
I would love to hear some of your favorite restaurant spots from where you’re from! Drop a note in the comments below telling me where you’re from and your favorite restaurant in the area! Maybe I’ll give it a visit!

Witney
