Hi loves!
I wanted to share about something WAY cool that I got to do last night! So I’m back home in Utah, and I had an amazing opportunity to teach a master class at a popular dance studio in my town. It was a charity-driven class, and everyone who participated made a donation to a few amazing causes. To be honest, I only promoted the class on my Instagram so I wasn’t sure if anyone would even show up.. Haha. But you guys, the turnout was SO great! There were a ton of girls there, and let me tell you, they all showed up ready to WORK.
The routine I taught was not easy at all, and these girls absolutely killed it – I was seriously blown away by some of their talent! And everyone who came was so incredibly sweet too, congratulating me on my most recent season of DWTS, and asking all about Carson and Roxy 🙂
I can’t even begin to explain how awesome it felt to get back to my roots and make authentic connections with dancers in my own community. I was so touched by all of these young girls who were saying how much they look up to me! It’s such a unique feeling to know that I am a role model to so many! Kind of scary lol.. But if I can somehow be a positive influence kids’ lives, then I’m all for it! All in all it was a night full of love and support and truly an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.
