My Favorite Holiday Glam Look

November 1, 2019

Hello Friends!

Happy post-Halloween! I hope you all had an amazing night filled with lots of candy, laughs, and quality time with friends or family. It’s crazy how fast 2019 is flying by! Gearing up for the holiday season is always such an exciting time. One of my favorite things I always look forward to is a gorgeous holiday glam look. My all-time favorite look right now for the holiday season is an icy smokey eye with slicked, pulled back hair. It’s bold yet sophisticated, which makes it perfect for not only going out, but family functions as well! Here is how you can recreate this look too.

L’oreal Studio Secrets Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer: I start off by squeezing out a dime size of product on my fingertips, and I rub it gently in circular motions all over my face for smoothness and a slight glow. This primer is especially great because as the weather gets colder, skin dries out faster, and this primer really infuses your skin with moisture.

It Cosmetics: Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer™ with SPF 50+: This foundation is completely full coverage yet extremely lightweight! It completely improves the look of practically any skin concern, whether it’s redness, pores, dark spots, breakouts, you name it—all while protecting your skin with SPF 50+ broad-spectrum physical sunscreen.

Lime Crime blush: For the cheeks, Lime Crime Costmetic’s blush in soft petal pink creates the perfect rosy cheek! It’s the subtle warmth you need to really tie the whole look together.

Lime Crime Eyeshadow palette: This is a showstopper. The Venus XL II palette is what centers the look entirely. Their shimmers and mattes create the most dimensional smokey eye that is destined to make your eyes pop no matter what color they are!

Urban Decay Cosmetics Eyeliner: I ended the eye look by lining my upper lid with this white liner. White eyeliner is known to make your eyes look more awake, which I especially appreciate while on DWTS. This step is optional, and if you want a more natural look, replace the white liner with black!

Kevyn Aucoin Lipstick: I completed the look with a natural-colored lip liner paired with this Kevin Aucoin lipstick in Thelmadora. It’s the ideal nude that everyone needs in their collection.

I hope you love this look as much as I do!

XO,
Witney
